About SVEF

The Silicon Valley Employers Forum (SVEF) was founded in 1994 as a means by which Silicon Valley-based employers could pool their collective intelligence regarding corporate benefits.

Today, SVEF is organized as a 501c6 Trade Association that addresses benefits for internationally-based members, as well as for those working here in the US.

Our members are employers in the high-tech sector, many of whom (but not all) maintain a headquarters or presence in the Silicon Valley region of Northern California.

SVEF is organized into two divisions; the Domestic Forum addresses Benefits provided to US-based employees and the International Forum addresses Benefits provided globally, or to Internationally-based employees.  Employers join the Forum(s) distinctly although many elect to participate with both Forums and engage team members according to their job responsibilities.

SVEF is an affiliate member of the Pacific Business Group on Health (PBGH) allowing SVEF members’ access to quality, data, and purchasing projects initiated through that respected coalition.  SVEF is also a member of the National Business Coalition on Health (NBCH) supporting networking and collaboration with other employer healthcare coalitions across the country.   Additionally, SVEF enjoys professional associations with the American Benefits Council (ABC) and the Integrated Benefits Institute (IBI).
